Four Seasons Reflexology provides a gentle, and natural support for your whole body.
I believe every treatment needs to be unique, because every client is unique.
I will craft a bespoke treatment plan, to bring you deep relaxation, a moment of peace, and tranquility, to help set you on a journey of restoration, and well-being. This is designed to promote better quality of sleep, improve well-being, and encourage emotional, and physical tension to release.
The very nature of reflexology can have profound effects on the para-sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for how we deal with the stresses of life, and which has a huge effect on our general health, and disease prevention.
Reflexology involves applying gentle pressure to specific areas of the foot or hand. These points correspond to organs, parts, glands, and systems of the body, mind, and spirit. It is believed that these reflex points create a response in the corresponding part of the body. I will gently work these reflected areas, aiming to bring back balance, which in turn aids the body to work as well as it can. Therefore, it can be said that a reflexologist provides professional facilitation of your body’s own potential for well-being.
I am trained in Clinical Reflexology, anatomy, and physiology, to help support the whole body.
Examples include: respiratory conditions, circulatory problems, hormonal changes and the natural cycle of life , digestive issues, urinary tract problems, fertility, pregnancy, menopause, men's health, lymphatic, immune and auto-immune conditions, palliative care, and of course, disorders of the nervous system, for example stress, anxiety, depression, and neurological conditions.
Please remember, reflexology isn't t a cure, I can't give you a diagnosis, and is not to be used instead of medical care.
However, it does indeed feel like luxurious pampering, and it is also promoting the innate self healing systems we are all born with.

NEPIP - NeuroEndoPsychoImmunoPody!
Neuro - Nepip works on the brain and links to all the nerves running through the body, helping to promote a balanced nervous system.
Endo - Nepip works on hormones and chemical messengers to support the glands and organs of the body, through the endocrine system.
Psycho - Nepip works on the psychological aspects of illness by accessing the limbic system.
Immuno - Nepip works on the parts of the body responsible for protecting us from pathogens, disease, and infection, by stimulating the immune system.
Pody - relates to feet, reflexology accesses the body and mind systems reflected in the feet.
Prolonged stress on the body or mind takes it’s toll on our ability to maintain good health and mental well-being.
The NEPIP treatment works with the theory that each bodily system affects the other and by enabling the flow from one system to another we help the body and mind interact and communicate.
During a NEPIP treatment, the client and therapist work together to reduce these stresses, whether due to either emotional or physical factors.
This treatment is exclusively performed by Level 5 practitioners, and is considered one of the best treatments with a stress related focus.
In addition to Clinical Reflexology I am trained in acupressure for the hands and feet, and 5 element reflexology.
These disciplines originate from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
The 5-Element approach is based on the concept that all living things are governed by 5 elements, namely fire, earth, metal, water, and wood. Each of these elements has an association with variety of aspects of the human body, and of nature, such as a particular organ of the body, an emotion, taste, time of day, a colour, and a season.
This is an effective protocol for when a client's symptoms link with a particular element. An example of a person with a Metal element imbalance may have asthma, unresolved grief, a dislike of spicy food, and always wakes at 4 am. I would use a sequence of balancing foot or hand reflexes relating to the 5 element alongside relaxation therapy.
Acupressure is a needle-free technique derived from acupuncture, which I use in treatments, and also teach for home care. Acupressure points lie along meridians, which are pathways carrying chi, or vital energy, throughout the body according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is believed that by using light pressure these points are stimulated to balance the flow of chi which aids in promoting health and may alleviate symptoms.
